LARGE TAPESTRY "CLORINDE DELIVRANT OLINDE ET SOPHRONIE",Louis XIV, from the atelier of S.F. DE LA PLANCHE (Sebastien Francois de la Planche, took over the atelier in 1661), attributed to designs by M. CORNEILLE (Michel I Corneille, circa 1603-1664), Paris circa 1680. In the center Clorinda riding on a stallion, a soldier to the right, and some onlookers. The stake on the left with Olindo, Sophronia and 3 people with straw bundles and logs. Fine border with animals, mythical creatures, figures, fruits, flowers and leaves. H 302 cm. W 485 cm.

Louis XIV, aus dem Atelier von S.F. DE LA PLANCHE (Sébastien François de la Planche, übernahm die Ateliers 1661), nach Vorlagen von M. CORNEILLE (Michel I Corneille, ca. 1603-1664) zuzuschreiben, Paris um 1680.
Im Zentrum die auf einem Hengst reitende Clorinda, rechts ein Soldat, der sie mit einem Speer bedroht, und einige Gaffer. Links der Scheiterhaufen mit Sophronia und Olindo sowie 3 Personen mit Strohbündeln und Holzscheiten, rechts eine Gruppe mit Zuschauern unter Bäumen. Im Hintergrund Tempel und Tor. Feine Bordüre mit Tieren, Fabelwesen, Figuren, Früchten, Blumen und Blättern. H 302 cm. B 485 cm.
