Dunkle Bronze mit Resten von Vergoldung der Hautpartien. Feine Figur des Bodhisattvas der Weisheit, die Hände predigend erhoben, in der Krone ein Mantra, das "Zeichen der zehn Mächtigen". Die Attribute Schwert und Buch auf den Lotosblumen neben den Schultern sind abgebrochen. Der gut modellierte Löwe trägt eine prächtige Satteldecke mit Drachenmotiv.

Feuervergoldete Bronze, die Gesichter rituell bemalt. Die komplexe Schutzgottheit ist eine zornvolle Manifestation von Manjushri und beruht auf der Grundform des stierköpfigen Totengottes Yama. Mit seinen 34 Armen, 9 Köpfen und 16 Beinen bietet er in Vereinigung mit seiner Shakti ein eindrucksvolles Bild. Diese hält wie Vajrabhairava selber eine Kapala und ein Hackmesser in den Händen. Zahlreiche Götter, Vögel und Tiere liegen unterjocht unter den Füssen des mächtigen Gottes, eine Elefantenhaut hängt über den Rücken hinab. Kleine Halbedelsteine zieren Krone und Schmuck.

Rotlack über senfgelbem Lack. Feinste Darstellung der Heiligenversammlung des zukünftigen Buddhas Maitreya. Er thront in der oberen Mitte. Mehrere Rampen mit Drachenmedaillons, wie sie auch im Kaiserpalast in Peking zu finden sind, führen zu ihm hin. Links und rechts stehen dicht gedrängt die Heiligen und Schützer der Lehre. Dieser Schiebedeckel gehörte zu einem Kästchen, in dem die Seelentafel eines Verstorbenen aufbewahrt wurde. Die Darstellung suggeriert, dass der Verstorbene ebenfalls Aufnahme in die heiligen Kreise finden wird. Ein fast identisches, vollständiges Kästchen mit Qianlong-Marke ist publiziert in: R. Soame Jenyns/W.Wattson, Chinese Art - The Minor Arts, New York 1963. Dort wird vermutet, dass das Kästchen für die Seelentafel von Kaiser Qianlong selbst bestimmt gewesen ist. Die Existenz dieses zweiten Deckels deutet deshalb auf die engste Verwandtschaft von Qianlong hin.

Nussbaum, -wurzelmaser und diverse Edelhölzer gefriest sowie mit graviertem Elfenbein ausserordentlich fein eingelegt mit Insekten, Blumen, Blattwerk, Kartuschen, Voluten und Zierfries. Rechteckiger Korpus mit mehrfach gestuftem Kranz auf wellig ausgeschnittener Zarge mit sich nach unten verjüngenden, durch bewegten H-Steg verbundenen Vierkantbeinen auf profilierten, gequetschten Kugelfüssen. Schräge, aufklappbare Schreibplatte über Zentralschublade, flankiert von je 2 übereinander liegenden Schubladen. Inneneinteilung mit 4 Zentralschubladen auf 2 Reihen, flankiert von je 3 stufenmässig angeordneten Schubladen. Geheimfach mit 4 Schubladen. Zurückgesetzter, bastionsförmiger Aufsatz mit verspiegelter Zentraltüre über breiter Schublade, flankiert von je 4 Schubladen. Zentralverriegelung. Inneneinteilung mit 2 Tablaren. Vergoldete Bronzebeschläge und -hänger. Mit Inventarbrandstempel PH 197 unter Krone. 107x61x(offen 89)x194 cm.
