GOAT HEAD EARRING - former Kofler-Truniger collection

Hellenistic, ca. 3rd–2nd century BC.
Gold (ca. 92%). Tapered bow ending in a goat's head with horns. Filigree gold decoration at the base of the neck.
H 3.2 cm. Total weight 4.5 g.
Bow center with a restoration. Filigree plate on the neck with a crack, possibly restored. Minor dents and slightly bent.
