RELIEF IN A VENETIAN FRAME
Venice, 17th century.
Chased copper relief depicting the Virgin Mary and the sleeping Infant Jesus with his hand placed on the globe. Lacquered frame inlaid with painted mother-of-pearl cartouches. Frame monogrammed GM on verso.
With frame 31.5 × 28 cm.
