Austria, Baroque, 18th century.
Wood with dark stain. The brass front with rich relief decoration and engraved silver-plated chapter ring and chased copper dial for the zodiac signs. Verge escapement and quarter-hour striking on 2 bells. Repeat on demand. The striking mechanism requires servicing.
