A pair of works: 1. A Swiss river landscape with a castle and a small palace on a hill, a group of figures in the foreground; 2. A small castle with a small park, outbuildings and groups of figures.
Gouache on paper.
Each signed and dated in white pen lower right: de Landerset p: 1795.
Each approx. 40 x 55.5 cm. Framed as counterparts in identical gold frames.
The paper slightly wavy. No.1 partly somewhat soiled in upper half of image. Both works with insignificant paint flaking and a few places with slight paint lifting. Somewhat rubbed in places on the edges. Somewhat browned on the reverse. Overall in good condition with fresh colours.
