PAINTED PENDULE ON PLINTH
Louis XVI, Neuchâtel, around 1780. The dial signed Perruchot Fils à Autun (with the dates 1780 and 1820).
Curved wooden case, painted mustard with floral decorations. Chased brass mounts in the form of laurel garlands, mesh and flower friezes. White enamel dial “en cuvette” with Roman hours and Arabic minutes. Movement with verge escapement and three-quarter strike on two bells. Originally with alarm (dismantled).
