COMMODE "EN TOMBEAU",Regence/Louis XV, stamped CRIAERD (Mathieu Criaerd, maitre 1738), Paris circa 1740/50. Kingwood and rosewood in veneer, inlaid with reserves and decorative frieze. Front with 3 drawers, the top drawer divided into 2. Rich, matte and polished gilt bronze mounts and sabots. Replaced grey/pink speckled marble top. 132x56x82 cm. Provenance: - Private collection, Germany. - Galerie Koller Auction on 11.11.1971 (Lot No.. 1921). - From a highly important Swiss private collection.

Régence/Louis XV, sign. CRIAERD (Mathieu Criaerd, Meister 1738), Paris um 1740/50.
Königsholz und Palisander gefriest sowie mit Reserven und Zierfries eingelegt. Geschweifter, rechteckiger Korpus mit vorstehenden vorderen Eckstollen auf wellig ausgeschnittener Zarge mit geschweiften Beinen. In der Mitte gebauchte Front mit 3 Schubladen, die oberste zweigeteilt. Reiche, matt- und glanzvergoldete Bronzebeschläge und -sabots. Ersetzte, profilierte, grau/rosa gesprenkelte Marmorplatte. 132x56x82 cm.
