A TRAVEL TEA SET
St. Petersburg, 1872–1888. Various master craftsmen.
Comprising: a teapot, a water ewer, a cream jug, a sugar bowl, a confectionery basket, 12 teaspoons, a tea strainer and sugar tongs. Smooth-walled pear shape teapot on a profiled foot ring. Curved handle. Slightly domed lid with spherical finial. In a wooden box lined with violet fabric, and with side handles (key missing).
55 × 13 × 42 cm (wooden box); 2,180 g.
