Located in the heart of Geneva’s Old Town, the French-speaking office of Koller Auctions consists of four generalist experts, forming a dynamic and versatile team. After more than forty years in the prestigious Palais de l’Athénée, Koller Geneva has relocated to a larger and more accessible space on Rue Etienne-Dumont.
Cyril Himmer, auctioneer, specialises in antique furniture and is Head of the Design Department. Art historians Virginie Messina, Dominique Hoeltschi and Marie Mazzone are also available to advise you on the potential interest of your objects and provide guidance on the best sales strategies.
Koller Geneva specialists also visit clients at home to appraise works of art across all categories, whether individual pieces or entire collections, particularly in the context of estates. Practical solutions for appraisals, sales and transport are offered throughout the year.
Four exhibitions are held annually in the Koller Geneva gallery, offering key opportunities to preview the highlights of upcoming auctions.
A Highlights exhibition at Koller Geneva
At Rue Étienne-Dumont, major pieces of antique furniture and Old Master paintings are exhibited in March and September, while Swiss, modern and contemporary art, as well as design, are presented in May and November. A prestigious salon at the Beau-Rivage Hotel in Geneva is dedicated to watch and jewellery highlights each May and November.
Salon of the Fatio private mansion
Sales of entire collections – such as that of the magnificent Fatio private mansion – are organised on a case-by-case basis.
These unusual in situ exhibitions invite visitors to immerse themselves in the intimate and refined atmosphere of historic residences, while presenting objects within their original context.
