ENCRIER

Strasbourg, Paul Hannong period, ca. 1740–48.
Faience decorated in high-temperature colors. Lobed, shaped and bombé form on four round flattened feet, painted with lambrequin decoration and pendant fruit. Arrow-and-dot border. Later inserts for a separate pounce pot and inkwell. Unmarked.
22 × 16.8 × 9.5 cm.
