PYRAMID-SHAPED EARRING

Byzantine, 5th–10th century AD.
Gold. Suspended from a ring, pyramid-shaped granulation spheres with the apex tilted downwards, above a sphere with granulations.
L 3.1 cm. Total weight 3.9 g.
