Sin dalla fondazione della casa d’asta Koller, la porcellana e le faience sono una parte importante delle nostre aste e rispecchiano la lunga tradizione dell’ambizioso collezionismo di ceramica in Svizzera. Molte importanti porcellane e faience sono state acquisite tramite Koller, tra cui oggetti provenienti dalle collezioni dei signori Siegfried Ducret, Paul e Ursula Müller-Frei, René e Friederike Felber.

Oggetti da collezione di Meissen, Sèvres, Strasburgo, Nymphenburg, Du Paquier, Zurigo, ma anche maiolica italiana e creazioni provenienti dall’Impero russo vengono ricercate dal nostro esigente pubblico di acquirenti e raggiungono continuamente prezzi record: un raro e importante gruppo di porcellana di Meissen, raffigurante una donna in crinoline, proveniente della collezione Müller-Frei, è stato venduto al prezzo record di CHF 214 000. Tra i pezzi più belli degli ultimi anni appartengono un candelabro di Meissen, sulla base del modello di Johann Gottlieb Kirchner, battuto a CHF 78 000, oppure una grande statuina di uno svasso di Meissen di J. J. Kändler, che ha cambiato proprietario per la cifra di CHF 144 000. Un importante servizio da viaggio di Meissen con stemma patrizio veneziano della famiglia Correr è stato venduto a CHF 114 000.

Le nostre aste di arti decorative si svolgono nei mesi di marzo e settembre. Accettiamo consegne fino alla metà di gennaio per le aste di marzo e fino alla fine di luglio per le aste di settembre.

Heart-shaped with side dolphins and seven cylindrical spouts with projecting rim. On a rectangular, flared base with knop. Painted in blue with a putto each between scattered leaves, flowers and leaf tendrils. Blue mark VL12p. in blue.

Meissen, mid-18th century.
Set of 32 figures in oriental dress representing two opposing armies, wearing knee-length waistcoats over harem trousers, set on rocaille bases heightened in gold. Decorated in copper-green, purple, and gold on one side and in purple, yellow, and gold on the opposite side. The king with crown, the queen with fur-trimmed cloak, the bishops with spear and sword, the pawns with bow and arrow and sword. The knight as a Turk on a rearing horse, and the rook as a cone on a profiled base, decorated with a brickwork pattern. Unmarked. (32)

A "SEA LIFE" CHESS SET

Meissen, design by Professor Max Esser (1885-1943) from 1923, executed 1935-47.
The chessboard in grey and white, the playing field adorned with gold edges, the sides modelled with two octopus heads and wave motifs on the opposite sides. The 32 chess pieces in the form of marine animals, decorated in orange-red and gold on one side and in dark grey and gold on the opposing side: the king and queen modelled as sea anemones, the knights as seahorses, the bishops as lobsters, the rooks as octopuses, and the pawns as starfish. Underglaze blue sword marks, impressed form numbers A1083 and A1082, moulder numbers. (33)

Meissen, ca. 1725. Model by Johann Jakob Irminger. The paintwork in the style of Johann Gregorius Höroldt.
Modeled after a Böttger stoneware model, and relief-decorated with acanthus leaf and bellflowers all around. Painted with a circumferential chinoiserie scene, on a patch of green grass, featuring figures at a table on one side and a group of three figures on the back, and plants and flying insects between gold-accentuated bands and spiral borders in iron-red on the edges of the foot ring and the lid.

Meissen, ca. 1725. The paintwork can be attributed to Johann Gregorius Höroldt.
Painted with the Italian family coat of arms da Lezze, a double-headed eagle in schwarzlot, in a crowned heraldic cartouche, etched in gold. The tea bowl with a matching coat of arms and a chinoiserie scene. The inside of the tea bowl with a rocky pagoda landscape, with an iron-red double-ring border. Rims with gold lace border.
H 4.5 cm, Ø 12.6 cm.
