PEARL, EMERALD AND DIAMOND NECKLACE, HUGO SCHAPER, Berlin, ca. 1880. Yellow gold and platinum. Very fancy anchor necklace, the top set with 3 shield-shaped ornaments. The openwork middle part set with 1 European-cut diamond of ca. 2.70 ct, ca. N-O/VVS, surrounded by volute motifs and additionally decorated with 7 old European-cut diamonds weighing ca. 0.35 ct, the lateral ornaments each set with 1 emerald rectangle weighing ca. 2.70 ct, flanked by 2 diamonds weighing ca. 0.10 ct, in bell-shaped settings. The lower part: 1 pendant with 1 drop-shaped, probably natural pearl of ca. 11 x 8.5 mm and 5 smaller diamonds, mounted below 1 old European-cut diamond of ca. 0.30 ct. The removable centre part can also be worn as a brooch. Original case signed Hugo Schaper (1844-1915), Court Goldsmith of His Royal Majesty the Emperor and the King, Berlin W.9., Potsdamer-Str. 8. With Mechanical part for the centre part.

Gelbgold und Platin.
Sehr apartes Anker-Collier, die Schauseite mit 3 schildförmigen Zierteilen, gehalten zwischen doppelten Kettchenteilen. Das durchbrochen gearbeitete Mittelteil besetzt mit 1 Altschliff-Diamant von ca. 2.70 ct, ca. N-O/VVS, umgeben von Volutenmotiven und zusätzlich verziert mit 7 Altschliff-Diamanten von zus. ca. 0.35 ct, die seitlichen Zierteile besetzt mit je 1 Smaragd-Rechteck von zus. ca. 2.70 ct, flankiert von 2 Diamanten von insgesamt ca. 0.10 ct, in glöckchenförmigen Fassungen. Als Abschluss ein Pendentif mit 1 tropfenförmigen wohl Naturperle von ca. 11 x 8,5 mm und 5 kleinen Diamanten, montiert unter 1 Altschliff-Diamant von ca. 0.30 ct. Das abschraubbare Mittelteil auch als Brosche tragbar.
