Tal Para qual, 1799. Sheet 5 of the series: Los Caprichos. Aquatint etching on laid paper, 19.8 x 15.1 cm (sheet size 32 x 22 cm). Delteil 42; Harris 40 III, 1st edition (of 12). – Excellent, even impression with rich contrast, with clearly delineated platemark. The left margin with traces from an old binding. With some plate residue from the printing plate in the lower left margin. The full margins with minor foxing and with minor wear. The outer edges with small tears, the upper and lower left corners with small paper losses. The right lower corner with light crease. Overall good condition.

Ausgabe (von 12). - Ausgezeichneter, kontrastreicher und gleichmässiger Druck mit der deutlich zeichnenden Plattenkante. An linken Rand mit den Spuren der alten Heftung. Mit etwas Plattenschmutz von der Druckplatte im linken Rand unten. Die vollen Rändern minim stockfleckig und mit leichten Gebrauchsspuren. Die Aussenkanten mit kleineren Läsuren, die obere und untere linke Ecke mit kleinen Papierverlusten. Die rechte untere Ecke mit leichter Knickfalte. Insgesamt in guter Erhaltung.
