LOT OF THREE DAGGERS OR STILLETOS

- DAGGER, Italian/Venetian, 2nd half of the 17th century, so-called "centoventi" for artillerymen. Iron hilt, olive-shaped twisted pommel, short twisted quillons. Wooden handle with spiral grooves. Square blade base, decorative bead, blade with triangular cross-section and with engraved scale to 120. L 39.4 cm.
- STILETTO, Italian, 2nd half of the 17th century. Iron hilt. Turned horn grip. Square blade base with mark, blade with triangular cross-section. L 32.9 cm.
- STILETTO, Italian, 2nd half of the 17th century. Iron hilt. Solid baluster-shaped grip. Square blade base, blade with triangular cross-section. L 22.8 cm.

In the second half of the 17th century, stiletti were very common in Italy; the "centoventi", which served as a measuring instrument and weapon for artillerymen and provided information about calibers, is particularly well known.
