IMPORTANT SKELETON CLOCK "L'HISTOIRE DE PSYCHE",Louis XVI, the dial signed KINABLE PARIS (Dieudonné Kinable, active circa 1790/1830), the painting on the dial signed J. COTEAU (Jean Coteau, Geneva 1740-1801 Paris), the enamel plaques attributed to A.L. GIRARDET (Abraham Louis Girardet, Le Locle 1772-1820 Paris), Paris circa 1790. Matte and polished gilt bronze and finely painted enamel plauqes in "beau bleu". The case decorated with bronze clouds, doves, flowers and leaves, set on a "Griotte Rouge" plaque. The 4 enamel plauqes painted with scenes from the life of Psyche. With an exceptionally finely painted enamel dial, 4 pierced hands, gilt anchor escapement striking the 1/2 hours on bell. Also with a fine bronze relief on the plinth and a fine pendulum in the form of a mask of Apollo. In a glass case. 44x15x69 cm.
