Provenance:–Private collection.–Galerie Fischer, Lucerne, 13.-17.6.1961, Lot 1800 (as Lucas Cranach the Elder).–Swiss private collection. Our thanks to Dr. Dieter Koepplin who has identified this painting, on the basis of a photograph, as a work by the Master of the Pflockschen Altar.
