ENAMEL, DIAMOND AND RUBY BROOCH, ca. 1900. Silver over yellow gold. Decorative brooch designed as a dragonfly, the body set throughout with 19 old European-cut diamonds weighing ca. 0.40 ct, the wings finely decorated with translucent blue-brown enamel and decorated with 12 diamonds weighing ca. 0.20 ct. With 2 small rubies as eyes. Removable mechanical part. Ca. 6.5 x 6 cm. With original case signed W. Batty & Sohn, Market St. Manchester.

Silber über Gelbgold.
Dekorative Brosche in Form einer Libelle, der Körper ausgefasst mit 19 Altschliff-Diamanten von zus. ca. 0.40 ct, die Flügel sehr fein verziert mit transluzidem blau-braunem Email und verziert mit 12 Diamanten von zus. ca. 0.20 ct. Als Auge 2 kleine Rubine. Abschraubbare Broschierung. Ca. 6,5 x 6 cm.
