RUSSIA.-Tartaria. Copper engraved map with original colour. 34 x 49 cm. With a scrolled cartouche lower left with dedication: Jodocus Hondius lectori salutem... The land sections decorated with figural folk scenes. Verso text in Latin. From Mercator- Hondius Atlas, Amsterdam, probably 1615/18. – With fresh old colours. A small margin around the plate edge. Very fine condition.

Tartaria. Altkol. Kupferstichkarte, 34 x 49 cm. Links unten Rollwerkkartusche mit Dedikation: Jodocus Hondius lectori salutem... Die Landteile mit figürlichen Volksszenen ausgeschmückt.Verso mit lateinischem Text. Aus dem Mercator- Hondius Atlas, Amsterdam, wohl 1615/18. - In frischem Altkolorit. Mit kleinem Rand um die Plattenkanten. - Sehr schöner Erhaltungszustand.
