SEATED AMITAYUS.Sino-Tibetan, Qianlong Period, H 18.6 cm. Gilded bronze. Seated in the meditation posture on a high, quadrangular throne, the front adorned with a drape showing a flower. The hands in dhyana mudra originally held the vase with the elixir of life.

Tibetochinesisch, Qianlong-Periode, H 18,6 cm.
Feuervergoldete Bronze. Im Meditationssitz auf einem hohen, viereckigen Thron, dessen Vorderseite ein mit Blüte verzierter Stoffbehang schmückt. Die Hände in dhyana mudra hielten ursprünglich die Vase mit Lebenselixier.
