IRON CLOCK WITH ALARM,Baroque, probably Switzerland or Germany, 18th century. Enclosed case, the dial painted with rocailles, flowers, putti and a woman with a basket of flowers. Movement with anchor escapement and 2 striking mechanisms, striking the 3/4-hour on 2 bells. Alarm on bell. Repetition on demand. H 43 cm. Painting redone. Case, in part later.

Barock, wohl Schweiz oder Deutschland, 18. Jh.
Geschlossenes Gehäuse mit weit überstehendem, kartuschenförmigem Zifferblatt, bemalt mit Rocaillen, Blumen, Putten sowie Darstellung einer Frau mit Blumenkorb. Gehwerk mit Ankergang und 2 hintereinander liegende Schlagwerke mit Dreiviertelstundenschlag auf 2 Glocken. Wecker auf Glocke. Repetition auf Anfrage. H 43 cm. Bemalung übergangen, Gehäuse teils später.
