PORCELAIN MANTEL CLOCK
Royal Porcelain Manufactory, Berlin ca. 1760/70. Underglaze blue scepter mark in blue.
Porcelain, with a white glaze. Curved case, on rocaille feet. Decorated with applied flowers and leaves, and acanthus leaves in relief. White, star-shaped, wavy dial with the hours indicated in Roman numerals and the minutes in Arabic numerals. Pierced hands. Movement with anchor escapement, striking the 1/2-hour on bell. Movement and dial, fitted in the 19th century.
