Bartsch 81; Meder 193 I; Schoch/Mende/Scherbaum 171 I (of III/h). - A superb, deep-black, even, and finely detailed test print before the text edition of 1511 with the 'High Crown’ watermark, as described by Meder for early prints. With margin around the framing line. Verso with some traces of previous mounting. The paper with even minimal browning. Margins outside the framing line show slight light staining and are somewhat browned. The upper margin outside the framing line has subtle water stains. Some traces of wear. Verso with a some traces of previous mounting. Overall in very beautiful condition.
