INLAID BUREAU CABINET,
Baroque, Switzerland, probably Berne, 18th century.
Walnut, burlwood, ash and plum, inlaid with reserves and fillets. Front with hinged leaf over 5 drawers arranged in 3 rows. The inside of the writing surface, in part lined with red leather. Fitted interior with 8 drawers, 6 compartments and 1 compartment below a sliding cover. Bronze mounts. Restored.
