Saint Jerome in a Cave, 1512. Woodcut, 17.1 x 12.6 cm. On laid paper with watermark: small gothic P with coat of arms (Meder 326). Bartsch 113; Meder 229 I c (of II e). – A good impression of the first state after the book edition, without the text on the reverse. With narrow margin around the framing line. One thin spot in the lower image area. Overall good condition.
Der Heilige Hieronymus in der Felsengrotte, 1512. Holzschnitt, 17,1 x 12,6 cm. Auf Bütten mit Wz. kleines gotisches P mit Wappen (Meder 326). Bartsch 113; Meder 229 I c (von II e). - Guter Abdruck des 1. Zustandes nach der Buchausgabe, ohne den rückseitigen Text. Mit schmalem Rändchen um die Einfassungslinie. Einzelne Dünnstelle im unteren Bildbereich. Insgesamt in guter Erhaltung.
