INCENSE BURNER. Palermo, mid-18th century.Inspector's mark R.U.P (Regia Urbis Panormi). Chased body with a retracted, slanting gadrooned collar. Lion masks on both sides as a base for the solid, curved handle made of acanthus, wing and head elements. Strongly curved wall with shaped cartouches. Round base, gadrooned at the end. Decorated with acanthus, C-shaped curves and engraved medallions with depictions of saints. 9.5x15 cm. 460 g. Repaired. Part of the Bulgari Collection.

Allseitig getriebener Korpus mit eingezogenem, schräg godroniertem Kragenband. Beidseitig Löwenmasken als Ansatz für den massiven, geschwungenen Henkel aus Akanthus-, Flügel- und Kopfelementen. Stark gebauchte Wandung mit plastisch modellierten Kartuschen. Runde Standfläche, godronierter Abschluss. Dekor aus Akanthus, C-Schwüngen und gravierten Medaillons mit Heiligenbildnissen. 9,5x15 cm. 460 g. Reparaturen. Bestandteil der Sammlung Bulgari.
