PAINTED SUITE, Louis XV, German, 18th century Comprising: 1 pair of Fauteuils and 4 chairs "à la reine". Moulded and carved wood, also painted grey and parcel gilt, upholstered with polychrome silk covers. Fauteuils 62x43x44x90 cm, chairs 53x45x42x88 cm. Provenance: from a German collection

Louis XV, deutsch, 18. Jh.
Bestehend aus 1 Paar Fauteuils und 4 Stühlen "à la reine". Holz moulüriert und beschnitzt mit Kartuschen und Zierfries sowie grau gefasst und teils vergoldet. Geschweifter, trapezförmiger Sitz auf wellig ausgeschnittener Zarge mit geschweiften Beinen. Flache, jochförmig abschliessende Rückenlehne, die Fauteuils mit gepolsterten Armlehnen auf geschweiften -stützen. Polychromer Seidenbezug. Fauteuils 62x43x44x90 cm, Stühle 53x45x42x88 cm.
