OPAL AND DIAMOND SET, BINDER, ca. 1950. White gold 750. Elegant set comprising a necklace, ring and clip earrings. The necklace consists of 47 fine, graduated beads of white opal, of 4 to 9.6 mm Ø, the top is set with a removable pendant made of 1 large, fine opal drop of ca. 35 x 27 x 7.1 mm, mounted under a rounded rectangular pavé set with white, pink and yellow octagonal diamonds totalling ca. 0.30 ct. Rectangular fastener decorated with 4 brilliant-cut diamonds totalling ca. 0.40 ct. L ca. 38 cm. Matching clip earrings with a total of 22 small opal beads and 16 white and 'fancy' diamonds totalling ca. 0.50 ct. Ring with 2 opal half-spheres totalling ca. 9 mm Ø and 10 white and 'fancy' brilliant-cut diamonds totalling ca. 0.60 ct. Size ca. 51. With original case.
