Shaped mahogany. Silver-plated bronze chapter ring, additional ring for minutes and seconds, and window for the "equation du temps". Blued steel hands. Exceptional brass movement with Graham anchor escapement, jumping seconds, perpetual calendar, equation of time with linear and constant force as well as bell striking "a la minute" on demand. Running period: 90 days. H 200 cm. Provenance: - As the reference clock for the workshop of A.L. Breguet between 1836 and 1847. - Collection of the Conte di Montalvo y Nunez del Castillo, acquired on 28.10.1847 for Fr4000. - Repurchased by Breguet in 1849 and placed in the workshop again. - In 1855 presented in the "Exposition Universelle" exhibition in Paris where it was purchased for a private collection. - Swiss private collection. Tonneau-shaped case No. 847601 with screw-down back and crown, round chrono pushers and slanted lunette, signed. Black, matte-finished dial with appliqued, square, luminous indices, leaf-shaped luminous hands, gold-coloured tachymeter and telemeter scale in miles, outer 1/5 second division, 12 hour counter and 30 minute counter with 3/6/9 marking, signed. Hand winder, Cal 72A, lever movement with Breguet balance spring, monometallic balance, chronograph with ratchet, shock absorber, signed. Brown leather band with Rolex clasp. D 36 mm. Ref 6034 was produced from 1946 up to the early 1960s. Refs 6034, 6234 and 6238 are called "pre-Daytona" by collectors.

Tonneau-shaped case No. 847601 with screw-down back and crown, round chrono pushers and slanted lunette, signed. Black, matte-finished dial with appliqued, square, luminous indices, leaf-shaped luminous hands, gold-coloured tachymeter and telemeter scale in miles, outer 1/5 second division, 12 hour counter and 30 minute counter with 3/6/9 marking, signed. Enamelled dial with black Roman numerals and blue-Breguet hands, date at 3h, day-of-week at 9h, moon phase at 6h, and month of the four-year leap year cycle. Signature on the back of the moon phase disc. Lever movement with Breguet balance spring, bimetallic balance, pallet with counterpoise, gold wheel train, quarter repeater on two gong springs, 23 rubies, independent jumping second can be switched off. D 55. Very fine, rare watch with double train, gold gears, astronomic perpetual calendar, jumping second hand and quarter repeater. This is the fourth known watch with jumping second hand produced by Audemars for Le Roy.
