CASKET OF THE "MESSEBUCHKASTCHEN" TYPE, Renaissance, probably France or Spain, 15/16th century Finely pierced iron plaques on wood, with double lock. With 2 rings to the sides, lined inside in red leather. 27x19x12 cm. Provenance: Private collection, Basel.

Renaissance, wohl Frankreich oder Spanien, 15./16. Jh.
Fein durchbrochene Eisenzierplatten auf Holz. Rechteckiger Korpus mit doppeltem Überfallenschloss und Architekturgotik. Seitlich je 2 Ringe. Inwendig mit rotem Leder ausgeschlagen. 27x19x12 cm.
