CLOCK WITH CARILLON AND ASTROLOBE, Baroque, the dial signed LORENZ HUYSEN IN BRESLAU (Lorenz Hussen, active circa 1700/40), Breslau circa 1730. Shaped and carved walnut. The case glazed on three sides. The clock with fine gilt relief-decorated bronze dial with bronze chapter ring, with two arched apertures for minutes and date and large arched aperture with moon phases and signs of the zodiac. Fine gilt and engraved brass mechanism with verge escapement and 4/4 striking on 2 bells, on the quarter hour the carillon with 10 bells, 16 hammers and 2 melodies is released. Trip repeat and regulator for the carillon. The movement requires revision. 42x24x65 cm. Provenance: Swiss private collection.

Nussbaum profiliert und beschnitzt mit Voluten und Zierfries. Prismiertes, dreiseitig verglastes Gehäuse mit gekehltem, bogenförmig abschliessendem Kranz auf wellig ausgeschnittener Zarge mit Volutenfüssen. Fein vergoldetes, reliefiertes Bronzezifferblatt mit Bronzezifferring für arabische Minuten- und römische Stundenzahlen. Darüber 2 bogenförmige Sichtfenster für Minuten und Datum. Als Abschluss grosses, bogenförmiges Sichtfenster mit Mondphase und Tierkreiszeichen. Feines, vergoldetes und graviertes Messingwerk mit Spindelgang und 4/4-Stundenschlag auf 2 Glocken, beim Viertelstundenschlag den Carillon mit 10 Glocken, 16 Hämmern und 2 Melodien auslösend. Repetition auf Anfrage. Regulation der Repetition des Carillon. Werk zu revidieren. 42x24x65 cm.
