THE DEPOSITION, in the style of the 16th/17th centuries, France, 19th century. Inscribed verso P.R.I. DE LIMOGES (Pierre Reymond I). Polychrome enamel painting with gold. With an oval reserve and the corners with tendrils in relief. 23x17 cm. In a later brass frame. 24x18 cm.

Polychromes Maleremail mit Goldzeichnung. Rechteckig. In ovaler Reserve Darstellung von 2 Jüngern, den Leichnam Jesu in ein blaues Tuch hüllend. Dahinter stehend Maria und Magdalena sowie rechts am Kreuz 2 Männer mit Leiter. Im Vordergrund am Boden liegen die Dornenkrone, 2 Nägel sowie eine Schüssel mit dem Essigschwamm. Die Ecklösungen mit reliefierten Ranken. 23x17 cm. In späterem Messingrahmen. 24x18 cm.
