Transition, probably Neuchâtel, 18th century.
Wooden case, painted with flowers on a green ground. Opulent gilt bronze mounts. Treize-pièce enamel dial. Movement with verge escapement, striking the 1/2-hour on bell. Paintwork later and brittle.
