PostWar & Contemporary
Our auctions of contemporary art from the post-war period to the present day are held in June/July and December. The sold rate at these dedicated auctions regularly exceeds 90%. We offer works by internationally renowned artists ranging from Abstract Expressionism, Minimalism/Concrete Art, Pop Art and Conceptual Art to the most current art movements.
Our auction highlights of recent years include works by Miriam Cahn, Ugo Rondinone, Magdalena Abakanowicz, Serge Poliakoff, Sol LeWitt, Hans Hartung, Victor Vasarely, John Chamberlain, Günther Förg, Georg Baselitz, Fernando Botero, Zdenek Sykora, Tom Wesselmann, Keith Haring, Andy Warhol, Carla Accardi, Yayoi Kusama and Christo.
Jara Koller and Clarisse Doge are pleased to provide a no-obligation valuation of your works in view of a possible auction consignment. For important works we develop an individual and detailed marketing proposal.
We accept consignments until the middle of April for the June auction and until the end of September for the November auction.

A SIMPLE ZIPPER – DOMENICO GNOLI
Gnoli transforms the familiar into the enigmatic.
In the painting ‘Zipper no. 2’, your eye is drawn not to the zipper’s function, but to its rich metaphorical resonance: opening and closing, invitation and concealment, the intimacy and distance it suggests.

Since the beginning of 2019 KOLLER AUCTIONS has been hosting the series of exhibitions KOLLERNOW at its Munich offices on Maximiliansplatz 20, with young artists from the Munich Academy of Arts.
An initiative which is independent of the twice-yearly auctions of Postwar & Contemporary Art held in Zurich, with this series of exhibitions, KOLLER AUCTIONS offers graduates and students of the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich the opportunity to present their work. On each occasion, the curator, Dina Renninger, invites three to five artists from the academy and enables them to come together in an exciting dialogue. Read more about it >>
