PAINTED CLOCK ON PLINTH

Transition, Paris ca. 1770. The case signed J. Goyer (Jean Goyer, maître 1760) and with the guild stamp.
Curved case, opulently painted. Gilt bronze mounts. White enamel dial "en cuvette". Neuchâtel movement with verge escapement, striking the 3/4-hour on two bells. Repetition on demand. 1 key.
