Louis XVI, Neuchâtel ca. 1780/90. The dial signed Al. Droz dit Busset à La Chaux-de-Fonds.
Wooden case painted with flowers on a pink ground. Opulent, chased brass mounts. White enamel dial "en cuvette", small alarm disc. Movement converted to Brocot escapement, and striking mechanism on bell. Alarm on bell.
