A FAIENCE CREST PLATE WITH SWISS FAMILY COAT OF ARMS

probably Bassano, c. 1700.
Painted in yellow, copper green, and manganese, with a crowned coat of arms flanked by halberds and rampant horses on an architectural console. The coat of arms of the Nidwaldner Johann Jakob Achermann.
D 32.5 cm.
