Louis XV style, France, ca. 1880. In the style of François Linke.
Tulipwood and purpleheart inlaid in lozenges. Kidney-shaped body on a frame with three drawers, on curved legs. Leaf lined with brown, embossed leather, surrounded on three sides by the upper section with seven drawers, two doors, and a large central compartment. The doors applied with bronze figures of Ceres and Flora. The corners decorated with seated satyr children holding two curved light branches. Recessed clock with white enamel dial. Opulent gilt bronze mounts designed as scrolled leaves, trailing flowers, and masks of women. 5 keys. Free-standing.
190 × 80 × 157 cm.

Cracks in the veneer. Leather with signs of use.
