IMPORTANT FAUTEUIL "AUX CARTOUCHES",

Louis XV, after designs by J.A. MEISSONNIER (Jules Aurèle Meissonnier, 1695-1750), probably from the workshop of F. TIETZ (Ferdinand Tietz, 1708-1777), Würzburg ca. 1750.
Beech, molded and finely carved with cartouches, leaves, scrolls and decorative frieze. Blue silk cover, in part damaged. Formerly painted.
61x54x46x103 cm.
