Japan, c. 1880-1890. Album with 45 original photographs.
Mostly coloured albumen prints. Vintages. Mounted on firm cardboard. Each approx. 20.5 x 26.5 cm (portrait and landscape formats), Album 27.5 x 35 cm. [22] cardboards mounted as leporello. Attractive black lacquer album of the period with wooden covers with cover illustrations painted in gold and colours, as well as intarsia decoration, in marbled cardboard case, lined silk interior.
