Louis XIV style, Paris, 19th century. The dial signed MARTINOT À PARIS.
Architectural wooden case, decorated with brown tortoiseshell and inlaid with fine tin and brass tendrils. Fine bronze mounts. Engraved, gilt chapter ring. Movement with anchor escapement, striking the 1/2-hour on bell. Some losses. Movement and striking mechanism require servicing.
