MANTEL CLOCK "AUX TROIS GRACES"

Louis XVI style, Paris ca. 1860. Signed Henry Dasson (1825–1896).
Matte and polished gilt bronze, in part burnished, and white marble. Spherical case, on a retracted base with spherical feet. Rotating enamel chapter ring with Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the minutes and "fleurs de lys". Movement with lever escapement "au cercle tournant", striking the 1/2-hour on bell. Gilt mounts and applications, designed as mascarons, branches, palmettes, flowers and pearl beading. 1 key.
