"ONE-HANDED" LANTERN CLOCK WITH ALARM

Probably France, ca. 1730.
Iron pillar movement, with brass gears. Brass dial, featuring the hours in Roman numerals. Movement with verge escapement, striking the 1/2-hour on bell. Alarm disc. Iron weights. Short rear pendulum. On a later wooden wall console.
