PAIR OF CLOCK MOVEMENTS,Louis XV, both signed STOLLEWERCK A PARIS (Michael Stollenwerck, maitre 1746), Paris circa 1750. Gilt brass. 2 fine relief decorated dials, one with date, year, moon phase, approximately 14 day functioning, anchor escapement and original filament suspension of pendulum; the second an astronomical mechanism with years, months and star signs, sunrise and sunsets, anchor escapement. Mounted on Plexiglas plinths. Diameter of movements 36 cm.

Messing vergoldet. 2 fein reliefierte Zifferblätter; eines mit retrogeradem Datum, Jahresscheibe, Mondphase, ca. 14-Tage-Gangdauer, Ankerhemmung und originaler Fadenaufhängung des Pendels; das zweite astronomisch mit Jahreszeiger mit Monaten und Sternzeichen, Anzeige für Sonnenauf- und untergang. Ankerwerk. Auf Plexiglassockel montiert. Werk D 36 cm.
