BUREAU CABINET,Baroque, probably Austria circa 1760. Walnut, burlwood and pearwood veneer and inlaid with reserves and fillets. The shaped front with 3 drawers under hinged writing surface between 2 small drawers. The fitted interior with large compartment and 4 drawers. The recessed upper section with central drawer and 5 drawers and a fitted interior of 4 small drawers and 2 arched niches. 130x61x(open 75)x175 cm. Provenance: Private collection, West Switzerland.

Barock, wohl Österreich um 1760.
Nussbaum, -wurzelmaser und Birne gefriest sowie mit Reserven und Filets eingelegt. Rechteckiger Korpus mit Giebelkranz auf gekehlter Zarge mit gequetschten Kugelfüssen. Geschweifte Front mit 3 Schubladen unter abklappbarer Schreibplatte zwischen 2 kleinen Schubladen. Inneneinteilung mit grossem Fach und 4 Schubladen auf 2 Reihen. Zurückgesetzter, geschweifter Aufsatz mit Zentraltüre und 5 Schubladen auf 2 Reihen. Inneneinteilung mit 4 kleinen Schubladen und 2 bogenförmigen Nischen. 130x61x(offen 75)x175 cm.
