SCHEDEL, HARTMANN (1440 Nuremberg 1514).Lot of 7 text pages from the Schedelschen Weltchronik, with wood cuts by Michael Wolgemut and Wilhelm Pleydenwurff illustrated recto and verso, 1493. Also city views of Constantinople and Jericho. Original coloured wood cuts (one text page without illustrations). 42.5 x 30 cm. From the Latin edition: Liber chronicarum, Nuremberg, 1493. - In bright colours. With few traces of handling and scattered insignificant tears. Overall in very good condition.

Lot von 7 Textseiten aus der Schedelschen Weltchronik, mit Holzschnitten von Michael Wolgemut und Wilhelm Pleydenwurff teils recto und verso illustriert, 1493. Dabei u.a. Städteansichten von Konstantinopel und Jericho. Altkolorierte Holzschnitte (eine Textseite ohne Illustrationen). 42,5 x 30 cm. Aus der lateinsichen Ausgabe: Liber chronicarum, Nürnberg, 1493. - In leuchtendem Kolorit. Mit wenigen Gebrauchsspuren und einzelnen unbedeutenden Läsuren. Überwiegend in sehr guter Erhaltung.
