IMPORTANT CLOCK "AU LION",Louis XVI, the model by J. COTTIN (Joseph Cottin, active circa 1760/80), the dial signed PRE LE ROY A PARIS (Pierre Le Roy, maitre 1737), Paris circa 1780. Matte and polished gilt bronze. The clock with enamel dial and 2 fine gilt hands. Paris escapement striking the 1/2 hours on bell. Rich gilt mounts and applications. 39x23x58 cm.

Matt- und glanzvergoldete Bronze. Stehender Löwe, auf dem Rücken das runde Uhrgehäuse mit Vasenaufsatz tragend, auf schwarzem Bastionssockel mit Scheibenfüssen. Emailzifferblatt mit römischen Stunden- und arabischen Minutenzahlen. 2 feine, vergoldete Zeiger. Pariser Werk 1/2-Stundenschlag auf Glocke. Reiche vergoldete Beschläge und Applikationen in Form von Eichenzweigen, Maschen und Rosetten. 39x23x58 cm.
