TWO MINIATURE BISCUIT BUSTS OF HOMER AND SOCRATES, Fürstenberg, circa 1780.The models by Carl Gottlieb Schubert. Each on a square, glazed porcelain plinth, heightened in gold. The busts inscribed on back: Homerus No:1 and Sokrates No:1. Underglaze blue F-mark on the underside of one plinth. H 17 cm, 15.5 cm (including plinth). Small chip on one plinth.

Modelle von Carl Gottlieb Schubert. Je auf einem quadratischen profilierten glasierten Porzellansockel gehöht in Gold. Die Büsten auf ihren Rückseiten beschriftet Homerus No:1 und Sokrates No:1. Unterglasurblaue F-Marke auf der Unterseite eines Sockels. H 17 cm, 15,5 cm (inklusive Sockel). Kleine Bestossung an einem Sockel.
