SMALL DESK, Transition, stamped J.F. DUBUT (Jean François Dubut, maître um 1755), guild stamp, Paris ca. 1760/65. Satinwood veneer, inlaid with reserves and fillets. Gilt bronze mounts and sabots. Shaped "Brèche d'Alep" top. 80x45x(open 62)x95 cm. Provenance: from a French collection.

Transition, sign. J.F. DUBUT (Jean François Dubut, Meister um 1755), Innungsstempel, Paris um 1760/65.
Satinholz gefriest sowie mit Reserven und Filets eingelegt. Prismierter Korpus auf wellig ausgeschnittener Zarge mit kurzen, geschweiften Beinen. Front mit Kopfschublade über schmaler Schublade mit lederbezogenem Schreibblatt und seitlichen Kompartimenten für das Schreibzeug über Doppeltüre. Vergoldete Bronzebeschläge und -sabots. Profilierte "Brèche d'Alep"-Platte. 80x45x(offen 62)x95 cm.
